Plastic Packaging Tax will take effect from April 1, 2022, which means any business producing or selling more than ten tones of plastic per year will be taxed. This only includes plastic packaging for less than 30% recycled plastic. With governing bodies continuing to introduce regulations tackling packaging waste, businesses must consider more sustainable options to include within their business strategy.
